We just corresponded with Marianna, and confirmed her visit next week!
On Friday, November 5 we will celebrate Shabbat dinner with her. It's always special to have Marianna here on a Friday night :-)

Compost Bin Moved
If you look closely in the picture above, you'll see Ludwig & Cecily Benecke! During the time that Ludwig & Cecily were with us, Ludwig helped me build a compost bin.
This month we deconstructed the bin that Ludwig built and moved the compost pile away from the house. We mention this not because it is newsworthy, but only to have the opportunity to show you again the following ultra-cute picture taken five years ago!
Saturday, Nov 13 - CTR Retreat
We will have a CTR retreat on Saturday, November 13. It will be the next in the Foundations of Community series, focusing on our second activity that we will commit to: Reconciliation. Very important!
The format of the retreat will be a teaching in the morning, followed by discussion of ways that we are called to reconciliation in / as a community. After lunch, we will have an extended time of prayer to pray into this calling together.
