Verena Lang - Learnings & Conclusions From The First Four Meetings of Wittenberg 2017

Verena Lang summarizes some key conclusions from the 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 preparatory meetings of the Wittenberg 2017 initiative. She speaks as a loyal Roman Catholic - important to understand since she brings to light some dark places in the history of her own church.

Talk given on 14 June 2016 at the beginning of that year’s gathering, the first one in Wittenberg. Verena speaks in German, and is translated by Julia S.

Thomas Cogdell - Jesus Prays for Us

The Jewish Passover begins tonight.  This means today is John 17 Day! What do we mean by that?  The Last Supper was on the Passover.  Jesus prayed his High Priestly Prayer, recorded in John 17, after the Last Supper.  This prayer is at the heart of our calling - to live out John 17.  And Jesus prayed it on the first day of Passover.

This teaching focuses on Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer. Today is a good day to do so!

Wright Doyle - Jesus Saves

This week’s highlighted teaching comes from our second Nicene Creed retreat last year. Wright Doyle speaks from the clause, “We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God …” His message beautifully puts Christ in the center of all, and Wright’s love for his Savior comes shining through.
