I join with all who are praying *
to the Father, through the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer

We give you thanks, O God, for you bless the Church with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. *
Help us to support one another, to be respectful of our differences and to work for the unity of all those throughout the world who call upon Jesus as Lord.

Help us by your grace to continue praying the prayer of your Son that we may be one, that we may draw ever closer together and recognize that our unity is that of yours, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. *
Amen.

Praying Psalm 104:13-19 (New International Version)

He waters the mountains from his upper chambers; the land is satisfied by the fruit of his work. He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate -- bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.

The trees of the LORD are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon that he planted. There the birds make their nests; the stork has its home in the junipers. The high mountains belong to the wild goats; the crags are a refuge for the hyrax. He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down.

Ending Prayer

Let us give thanks to the beneficent and merciful God, the Father of our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ, *
for He has covered us, helped us, guarded us, accepted us unto Him, spared us, supported us, and brought us to this hour.

Let us also ask Him, the Lord our God, the Almighty, to guard us in all peace this holy day and all the days of our life.
