I join with all who are praying *
to the Father, through the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer

Father, I thank you for the unique way you have created me.  Heavenly Father, I am so thankful to be able to approach my Creator, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, with reverence and fear. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. You are God. I am not. You are in control. Hallelujah!

Praying Luke 22:14-21 (New International Version)

When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God." *
After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, "Take this and divide it among you. For I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes." And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."

Response to the Scripture

Thank you, LORD, that from everlasting to everlasting your love is with those who fear you, and your righteousness with their children's children -- with those who keep your covenant and remember to obey your precepts.

Ending Prayer

Our Father in heaven, thank You for loving the world so greatly.  You gave Your only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins so that we could be reconciled to You. *
We are grateful to call You Father and to be called Your children.  Nothing can separate us from Your love.  Thank You Father, for adopting us into Your family because of Jesus Christ our Savior.
