I join with all who are praying *
to the Father, through the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer

We give you thanks, O God, for you bless the Church with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. *
Help us to support one another, to be respectful of our differences and to work for the unity of all those throughout the world who call upon Jesus as Lord.

Help us by your grace to continue praying the prayer of your Son that we may be one, that we may draw ever closer together and recognize that our unity is that of yours, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Praying Psalm 19:7-11 (New International Version)

The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. *
The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

Response to the Scripture

Ending Prayer

Let us give thanks to the beneficent and merciful God, the Father of our Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ, *
for He has covered us, helped us, guarded us, accepted us unto Him, spared us, supported us, and brought us to this hour.

Let us also ask Him, the Lord our God, the Almighty, to guard us in all peace this holy day and all the days of our life.

- The Agpeya of the Coptic Church
