Praying 1 Thessalonians 3:10-13 (International English Bible)

We want you to know that we pray day and night with great energy so that we might visit you again and supply what is lacking in your faith. Now may God the Father and our Lord Jesus make a clear way for us to visit you soon.

We pray that the Lord will cause your love to grow and overflow for one another and for all people, just as our love does for you. *
We pray that God will strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes again with all his holy people.

Response to the Scripture

You, Oh God, are reconciling all things to yourself in Christ Jesus.  Help us to walk in the ministry of reconciliation, bringing all things under your kingdom - to the glory of your Name.

Draw near to God’s throne of grace
with the thanksgivings, prayers, & intercessions that are on your heart

Even so, Lord Jesus, come quickly. *
May the Lord cause your love to grow and overflow for one another and for all people.

Ending Prayer

O God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, our only Savior, the Prince of Peace: *
Give us grace seriously to lay to heart the great dangers we are in by our unhappy divisions; take away all hatred and prejudice, and whatever else may hinder us from godly union and concord;

that, as there is but one Body and one Spirit, one hope of our calling, one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, one God and Father of us all, *
so we may be all of one heart and of one soul, united in one holy bond of truth and peace, of faith and charity, and may with one mind and one mouth glorify you, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

- Anglican Book of Common Prayer

In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
