I join with all who are praying *
to the Father, through the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer
Giving us Your glory without making us one is a dangerous thing, Lord Jesus. When we are divided by petty agendas, grudges, or hatreds, we become spectacles of foolish arrogance and religious superiority. But when we are fused as one in Your purpose, we can reflect Your glory to all the world.
You have loved us and saved us that we may bear Your beauty. *
Make us one so that the world will know the glorious love of the Father.

Praying John 17:24-26 (New International Version)
"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." *
Response to the Scripture
Blessed Father, make us one, even as you and your Son are one. You have given us the glory that you gave your Son, that we may be richly, fully, one.
Draw near to Godβs throne of grace
with the thanksgivings, prayers, & intercessions that are on your heart

Ending Prayer
Gracious Father,
we pray to you for your holy Church.
Fill it with your truth.
Keep it in your peace.*
Where it is corrupt, reform it.
Where it is in error, correct it. *
Where it is in right, defend it.
Where it is in want, provide for it. *
Where it is divided, reunite it,
For the sake of your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ.
