The Jewish Passover begins tonight. This means today is John 17 Day! What do we mean by that? The Last Supper was on the Passover. Jesus prayed his High Priestly Prayer, recorded in John 17, after the Last Supper. This prayer is at the heart of our calling - to live out John 17. And Jesus prayed it on the first day of Passover.
This teaching focuses on Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer. Today is a good day to do so!
This week’s highlighted teaching comes from our second Nicene Creed retreat last year. Wright Doyle speaks from the clause, “We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God …” His message beautifully puts Christ in the center of all, and Wright’s love for his Savior comes shining through.
